The Story Behind Quiet Opulence

My name is Andrew Oates. I was born and raised here in Spokane, WA and I believe that every home has a soul worth protecting.

A Life-Changing Perspective

Before I founded Quiet Opulence, I spent 14 years in the insurance industry. I got into that business for one reason: I am a two-time survivor of end-of-life cancer. After walking through that fire, I dedicated my career to helping people "insure the what-ifs" in life. I knew, firsthand, that when the unthinkable happens, you need someone in your corner who actually cares.

From Protecting the Future to Protecting the Now

Insurance protects you for the future, but my journey taught me that we have to protect the now. We spend 90% of our lives inside our homes, yet most of us are unknowingly filling those homes with "toxic cocktails" of cheap chemicals and residues that compromise our health.

"I realized that I could do more than just insure a family's assets. During my fourteen years in the insurance industry, I sat at the bedsides of too many people as they suffered—and having walked in those shoes myself as a cancer survivor, I understand the weight of that journey.

It changed my perspective on what a home should be. I realized I didn't want to just manage the aftermath of a health crisis; I wanted to help prevent one. I founded Quiet Opulence to turn the private residence into a medical-grade sanctuary. I provide the technical oversight and clinical stewardship I wish I had for my own environment, ensuring your home is a place of true healing and absolute safety

Discretion is our Bond: I know your privacy is sacred. That’s why we use unmarked vehicles and consistent, two-person teams. I want you to feel our presence through the peace of your home, not the noise of a crew.

Health is the Mission: We use 375°F medical-grade steam and safe, natural chemistry because you can’t buy back your health. I treat your family’s air and your home’s materials with the same care I’d use in my own house.
